Jennifer is a licensed psychotherapist with over 8 years of diverse counseling experience. She is a culturally competent Clinical Mental Health Counselor who enjoys working with individuals, couples and families of all different ages and backgrounds. Jennifer believes one’s experience in therapy should be safe, supportive, and non-judgmental. She strives to make her office a compassionate, and welcoming environment that promotes self-exploration and personal growth.
Jennifer specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and bereavement. She is committed to helping her clients foster emotional resilience, develop effective coping strategies, overcome transitions and challenges, and reduce distorted thinking. Jennifer recognizes that every individual is unique, and tailors sessions to fit each client’s needs and goals. She loves incorporating creativity and humor into her sessions. Modalities in your treatment may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness training, psychoeducation, and self acceptance training.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, writing, and reading.
